T and I

I told T today that I do not "just" want sex and that I am ready to build a life with someone. I asked him..."know that you know this information do you still want to see me?" "or did I scare you"? and he relied "i'm fine" we continued to text as the day went on. We will see......stay tuned!

Continued post from Dec 20......

I am reading my post from Dec 20th and it says that I will explain in next post and then my next post is about being "single and dating" so I will now explain what a "Fun Friday" is and maybe explain what "the quay" is too. In our circle of close friends and family we have a lot of inside jokes. "The quay" comes from all of us doing and saying crazy things they would only happen in Fuquay Varina, NC we shortened that to "the quay"  Fun Friday is just a house party that we have on a regular basis (every Friday) unless otherwise told different. And if we do not have a "fun Friday" for whatever reason we have a "Sassy Saturday" which is drinking, hanging out, laughing. joking, g sometimes games, Lots of shots and just having FUN!! It's usually always the same people.
Sometimes a new person will come that one of us brings but we are a lot to digest so they usually don't come back lol and if they do, they are brave!! That is how Joanna (Jojo) became a part of us. Kristen brought her (they are neighbors) and she had such a good time she came back!

Now we all have our own relationships with each other. For instance, Gina and I have been best friends since 6th grade but I am also close to her sister Nicky. My daughter Sam is close to her Aunt Gina and will randomly hang out with her but not do the same with Nicky. Not that she doesn't love her it's just different stroke for different folks. Kristen is actually Nickys friend and Kristen and I had started to hang out at the clubs/bars. Then she brought Jojo. Now Jojo and I will go out every once in a while. Here's where the story gets interesting Joanna keeps implying that  her and I are "best friends" and she only says this to Gina. Well...this gets Gina going lol  I can't say anything to Joanna because that will makes things worse. Hers the last text I got from Gina.......LMAO! Your single white female made it a point to tell me how u refer to her as your best friend when your together. She really is crazy if she thinks she will ever compare to me or take my place! lol And after the way her kids act she had the nerve to say something about Gianni as she does!! She mentions my kids name again and I'm gonna flip on her!! lol Can't stand that HO!!

Okay so now lets get back to the Greensboro guy and T. Greensboro guy has not contacted me and I have not contacted him! Hope it stays that way!! DB!! lol
T and I have not stopped texting each other we are making plans to see each other ASAP!! Stay tuned!!

Single and Dating

This is just the beginning for me! I am soooo excited! Okay so, I'm totally single and I have been going through the stages of being single and discovering so many things about myself. So, through online dating I met this guy T and he was the first guy that I had kissed after leaving my husband. I was very nervous to say the least lol and he was ready to jump into a relationship with me and I was sooooooo not ready for this! So I ran away! Months later he called me and we talked and we have kept in touch ever since then.

Now I started dating again (online) and met this guy who lives in Greensboro. We hit it off! Our first date was really good we had a lot of chemistry! And he was a perfect southern gentleman. So after we discovered that we REALLY liked each other the sexting started. And our second date involved a hotel room. Yeah.....I know....I messed that one up! But we continued to text and talk and i'm getting the feeling that he is a drinker. Like an EVERYDAY drinker. Well, the first weekend that he doesn't have his girls (children) he doesn't ask to see me (weird) but whatever it holiday time and maybe he spent too much money I don't know!! But now comes the next weekend he is free and we make plans to see each other. Well.... he cancels.....okay but the next day Sunday when we were already supposed to see each other he is hunting! So, now I'm like okay this is BS. If  i'm already being put on the back burner than that just sets the stage.

 Getting back to T, while I was thinking damn this guy (Greensboro) is not showing an interest in me I message T on FB. He doesn't get back to me for a few hours but we start to talk.....and I tell him that I really needed a friend tonight to talk to and I was gonna ask him to meet me for dinner. Now it's Monday and T and I are still messaging and Greensboro guy hasn't even text me today!!!

Anyway this is the short version of a detailed story but I would like to here a guys point of view!

Introduction continued

Hello! We are vastly approaching Christmas Day aren't we?

 Tonight I'm going to continue the introductions of my friends and family so that as you read you will know who you are reading about!

So the first part was of my "Italian Family" they are not my blood family but since Gina and I have been best friends since the 6th grade we are pretty much family now! We have been through thick and thin together and have gone months (I think even years) without talking to each other and still manage to keep a very close (like sister) relationship. 

Next I am going to introduce the friends that are in our circle that we have all met here in NC. And keep in mine that no-one here is from NC we have all migrated here from other states. In our circle its mainly Florida and NY. 

Kristen: from NY and shes Italian. Love her and when I first came to NC she was the one who went out with me to bars and clubs! She is going through a divorce for the second time to the same man! Yeah......don't ask lol they have two kids Nicky and Emily.  Just a note about Kristen's personality: Everything is about her!!!! 

Joanna (JOJO) from NY and Italian with blonde hair and blue eyes! and BIG BOOBS!!!! lol Love her too! She is also going through a divorce and has two boys. She just started to come out to the bars with me this past summer! We have a great time together but JOJO loves Mary Jane and JOJO is a PRINCESS!!!!! To her core!!!

That's me in the pink top. My hands are on Cam Cam (Nickys son) to my right is Kristen in the black top her arm is around Irma (Chris's GF) directly behind Kristen is JOJO and to Kirsten's right (behind her) is Nicky and behind Nicky is Frank, to Nickys right is Taylor (haven't introduced her yet) the black kid with blue glasses on is "Robinson" (haven't introduced him yet) Chris is the one with both hands up all the way to the left and behind him is Irma's brother Jose. This was a "Fun Friday" and a going away party for Robinson. I will explain in next post! Stay tuned! 

Ready to do this!!

Okay, I am finally ready to post new blogs everyday! This blog will consist of an introduction of the main people I will be blogging about.

First up.....me! Denise, I am recently separated from a 20 year marriage and as time goes on I am learning more and more about myself! It's been 18 months to be exact and with each day that passes I experience something new, go through different phases of being newly single and look back and learn. This is why people need to be alone and for a good amount of time after a break up. Instead of putting all of my energy into another relationship I am learning more about me!! I have two children. My daughter Sam is 20 yr. old (and lives with me) and my son Tony is 19 yr. old. (he lives with his dad)

Next is.....my best friend Gina! We have been friends since we were 11 years old. She is the calm and sensible side of our relationship. She has been married for 20 years to our childhood friend. (Joey) She is very conservative and I call her a "home-girl" she is defiantly not a party girl by any means. Gina has two boys Sebastian (Bash) 19 yr. old and Gianni 14 yr. old

Next is Gina's sister...... Nicky! She is our "big sister" she is always watching out for us and takes care of us. She is married for 20 years also and her husband Frank is another main person you will read about! He is let's just say.......a character! Nicky and Frank have four kids; Chris (18 yr. old) Cameron (cam-cam) 16 yr. old, Kaley 14 yr. old, Angelina 6 yr old and the two "new additions" to the family are Irma (Chris's GF) and their new baby girl Liliana (newborn)

I will post every night at about 9pm! If that changes I will post new time!!

This is you, This is me, This is us!!!

So, my friends and I all spend a lot of time together! We are all in different places in our life. Some of us are still married, some of us are going through a separation/divorce, and some of us are newly single! WOW it's so amazing how life can take you down some pretty scary roads with lots of bumps.....and still we land on our feet LIKE A CAT!!!!!!
 My blog will consist of my life, my friends and my new memories that I am creating everyday. We are so very different in our personalities and yet we all get along great and have a grande LOVE for one another! As my blog unfolds you will witness the crazy, loving, supportive and oh so very FUN times that we share together! I'm extremely excited to start this new adventure in my life!!!
